FAQ
Q: When should I book my portrait session or wedding?
A: Typically 4-6 weeks out for sessions and 4-8 months out for weddings, but you can contact me anytime and see if I have a spot open!
Q: When do I pay for my portrait session?
A: The session fee is due at the time of booking to hold your date and time. I can take cash, check, or credit card via Paypal or over the phone.
Q: How long is my portrait session going to be?
A: Sessions are typically 2 hours long, depending on how many people are there and who we are taking the pictures of. Clothing changes, makeup retouches, and new locations all add time onto the session.
Q: What if I have blemishes, bruises, stretch marks?
A: Don't we all! Don't worry though, every image is retouched and blemishes are removed. I will not remove moles/birthmarks/freckles unless you specifically ask me to though.
Q: Do you have a studio?
A: At this time I am exclusively on-location. I will have a proofing/ordering office soon, though, where you can come and see your photos, order prints, and see all my awesome products! But for now, I come to you for everything! Easy peasy!
Q: What is your style like?
A: Well, first look at my website and blog. :) That will give you a good sense of my style. I'm not big on doing a ton of posing, at least not posing that *looks* like posing. I will help guide you and make you feel comfortable, but I like natural pictures of you just being you. I would say my style can be labeled modern editorial portraiture.
Q: How many proofs do I get to choose from?
A: Typically 20-30 proofs for full portrait session, and 10-15 for mini sessions. Weddings can vary greatly depending on length and size.
Q: Do you sell digital negatives?
A: YES! I do! After a minimum print purchase, digital files are available as an add-on. All digital negatives come with a release so you can print as many copies as you want. All ordered prints or digital images will also come with a free web-sized, watermarked image for online use. Contact me for a full price sheet!
Q: What are mini sessions?
A: They are shorter, quicker sessions that are a little cheaper. I only do them a few times a year, and spots are limited. Keep checking the blog for updates the next mini-session day, and for other great events!
Q: Do you have packages?
A: Absolutely! My packages are print credits with some extras thrown in for getting the package! I do this so that you can create a package custom to your needs, rather them me telling you what you will get. Everyone has different needs and wants and I want everyone to be happy!
Q: What do I wear? Can you help?
A: Clothing and styling are VERY important to your session. The right outfit can make the image. I encourage everyone to bring LOTS of clothes, and I can help you pick and put outfits together. Don't forget things like hats, scarves, ties, fun necklaces and bracelets, and anything else you would like to incorporate into your pictures! I also have things that I can bring to give you more variety and quirkiness to your shoot!
Q: What are is my session going to be like?
A: Well, first, its going to be a TON of fun! I'm really super duper easy going and crack a lot of jokes....even though most probably aren't funny. I usually end up looking pretty goofy myself in an attempt to make you feel at ease. I just want you to be yourself, be flirty, funny, goofy, outgoing, energetic, loving, and SHOW it! That is what makes great, emotional images....the real you! We might be going out the country, walking around downtown Tulsa, or hitting a few small spots for lots of variety, but we will be having a great time and everything is done in a very laid-back manner!
Q: But you aren't in my area! Do you travel?
A: I do travel, for a fee of course. I travel often for weddings, so just contact me and I can get you a quote!
